Thierry Corona

Domaine Cep d’Or, Gewürztraminer Stadtbredimus Côteaux, Cuvée Signature 2016

Thierry Corona, sommelier at Les Roses restaurant (Casino 2000, Mondorf-les-Bains), President of the Association of European Sommeliers.

“This Gewürztraminer is a white wine sporting a glorious golden colour and a white-gold rim, highly aromatic, with aromas of rose petals and lychees. It offers a pleasing freshness in the mouth – slightly sweet with a crisp finish which nevertheless retains a pleasing minerality. This wine is very suitable as an aperitif because it is not too sugary, and it is perfectly balanced. I will happily pair this with a terrine of foie gras, with cheese or a fruit dessert. Similarly, I enjoy this Gewürztraminer on its own, with a brioche or biscuits. But ultimately, it can also be enjoyed just for itself!”

Price: 11 euros (from the winery)
